  • Comments Thread For: Usyk vs. Bellew In Play For November 10 in London

November 10 in London is rumoured to be the date and location for Oleksandr Usyk (15-0, 11 KOs) vs. Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs). Although not yet finalised Boxing Scene understands that these are the details in play for the undisputed cruiserweight champion's first fight since winning the World Boxing Super Series tournament last month in Moscow when he outclassed Murat Gassiev with a shut-out win over the Russian.

November shaping up to be a good month. We have this fight, and then likely Wilder vs Fury on the following week or two weeks after that fight. One thing though, wouldn't that be two PPVs in such a small period of time? When is the last time that happened in the UK? Smart for Hearn to go before the Wilder/Fury fight. Though not sure how well Bellew vs Usyk does anyways.

From September to the end of the year we'll have

        Joshua/Povetkin
        Groves/Smith
        Usyk/Bellew
        Wilder/Fury
        Golovkin/Canelo
        Frampton/Warrington
        Khan/Brook/Pacquiao

Right on! Could be the fight of the year. To that end, what has been the FOTY in a championship bout??

And all those are PPVs? Sheesh.

Back to back weeks of PPVs with Canelo vs GGG and Joshua vs Povetkin. And then obviously potential back to back PPVs with the Bellew and Fury fights.

At least the PPVs will be the third of the price as it will be stateside? Lol

Think Groves/Smith follows the week after Canelo and Joshua aswell. Groves/Smith and Frampton/Warrington could get the most affected, other 5 are pretty unmissable. I'll probably end up buying the lot of them though.

I guess that's one good thing about stateside PPVs then. Only a select few are on PPV. So we haven't even had any PPV yet as Canelo vs GGG rematch will be the first one. Then for sure the Wilder vs Fury one. Not convinced Spence/Garcia takes place in December. Can see that being pushed to January. So at most we will have three PPVs, but for sure two. So while the PPV price is about three times more, we also have three times less the PPVs here.

You guys have had so far how many? Bellew vs Haye II, Joshua vs Parker and Whyte vs Parker? Any others? That's already three and you have five or six on tap.
