  • Comments Thread For: Fury: If I Didn't Believe I Could Beat Wilder - I'd Pack Up & Retire

Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) insists he will be motivated by pride rather than prize money when the controversial British fighter faces Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs). Fury will travel to Las Vegas in November to meet WBC heavyweight champion Wilder in what will be the third fight of his comeback. The 30-year-old eased to victory against Francesco Pianeta at Belfast's Windsor Park on Saturday, setting the stage for the biggest pay-day of his career in the United States.

Seems like a cashout to me. It would be ****** financially to retire without making some money off you're name while you're still undefeated like Fury is.

Luis Ortiz is the third best heavyweight in the world. Tyson Fury is the fourth.

Remember this thread bc Fury and his younger brother said last week ,they would NOT fight Joshua for anything LESS then 50 % .

Lets see if ITS NOT ABOUT money holds up after Wilder that he claims $ dont drive him !

Well, if Wilder wins this one, he'll be on the driver's seat and AJ will have to come to the states and take Wilder's terms if he wants to fight him.

Fury is facing someone who has something he has in equal measure: heart. Being outboxed won't deter him in the early rounds and he'll eventually get through. People forget that Wlad was demoralised even before he set foot in the ring and, let's face it, did Wlad ever have a champion's heart? His skill can't be doubted but if it wasn't for Steward (RIP) lighting a fire under his a$$ he wouldn't have gotten as far as he did.

I think he really believes he can win and there will always be the Joshua, Price, Whyte and Joyce fights if he does lose. For the kind of money he's earning, this is a no brainer. He's getting sparked though, make no mistake about it.

Wlad was 39 and could no longer pull the trigger. Fury was a lot younger with a longer reach and may have been doping. Let's not act like it wasn't a close fight either.

Not in as much control. That's obvious
