Warrington was real good against Selby, he will have to be on the top of his game in this one though. Frampton looked classy again last night.

I'll be looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see where it happens, both are massive ticket sellers in Belfast and Leeds respectively.

Interesting how when Frampton beat Santa cruz, there were no issues in making an immediate rematch. When Santa Cruz won the rematch, all of a sudden they have no interest in letting Frampton try and avange his loss. Going on 2 yrs since the rematch and Santa Cruz seems content to face low threat opposition which for the most part, has been the story of his career.

I agree with your point that LSC doesn't seem keen at all on the rematch, but Mares isn't low threat, he's a top fighter with one blip on his record.

I mean the main reason they fought in a rematch so soon was because LSC had a rematch clause in his contract. That wasn't the case in the rematch. And while the fights were good, not like they were great where everyone was dying to see them fight a third fight next. LSC was then set to face Mares after both took on unnecessary tune ups, and now it seems like LSC vs GRJ could happen next. So yeah, LSC is far from just taking the easy route. The winner of the two big FW showdowns can face off in 2019.

I love Frampton that guy can fight. He's of my favorites! Hopefully he can get the Santa Cruz trilogy.

I understand your point, but I didnt think a rematch with mares was really warranted. First fight was a pretty convincing win.
