Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Joshua Did NOT Want To Step Up - Fury Did!

As BoxingScene.com reported on Friday, Tyson Fury's father had to be restrained after Deontay Wilder crashed the weigh-in for Fury's fight against Francesco Pianeta. WBC heavyweight champion Wilder (40-0) is in Belfast to witness the bout with a view to taking on the former IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO king, who only returned to the sport after a 2 1/2-year absence in June, following a breakdown in talks with Anthony Joshua.

Fury wanted more fights to prepare for Joshua .

For you ? He doesn't really need to bc you are the far easier fight .

If Joshua didnt want to step up why do you have an AGREED to contract unsigned laying on Finkels desk?

Or did he already tuck it away in a folder in his archives ?

Beyonce and Fury both know a fight with AJ makes them almost 10x their biggest paychecks and constant rabbiting on about him would raise their profiles much more and to build up their respective on coming fights, a good move but it is getting really low class and annoying now.

How about Beyonce sign the contract still in his possession then prove to the world he is the best, can any Beyonce fan explain why Beyonce wouldn't fight for a guaranteed 15m???now he fights Fury for how much???

          Wow!
I've never heard this from Deyonce before.
How many more copy/paste "articles" can I expect?
Geez, you're repeating yourself like a broken record.

Pianeta (35-4-1) weighed in at just under 227 pounds and asked Fury to pose for a selfie
That's a lie, Pianeta weighed in at 254 pounds and asked for a selfie.

I caught a few interviews with Wilder yesterday, he came across really well, can see fans in the U.K. warming to him.

But if Fury is in shape then I believe he might be in for a rude awakening come November / Decemeber.

We’ve seen lots of monster KO punchers come and go over the years, typically they all meet an elite level boxer with a decent chin at some point - and then struggle. Think of Juanma, Kovalev, Hamed, McClellan, Tua etc.

Wilder has the Ortiz win, but the eventual stoppage looked more like tiredness on Ortiz’s part than anything else to me. Wilder also had height, reach and youth on his side. Good win nevertheless, but it should be remembered that Ortiz lacks any elite level wins of his own - including at amateur level, so I still have question marks about his true level.

A fit Fury is a different prospect, taller, longer, than with solid fundamentals and an elite win over Klitschko (and to a lesser extent Chisora, which looks better with age).

I think Wilder would be in for a tough night. (All depending on Fury not being a shadow of his former self of course).

You're the one who didn't step up.
You are the most uncooperative B-side in boxing history.
All you had to do was to sign the contract they sent you.
You let it rot for 2 weeks disrespecting AJ's mandatory obligation.
AJ would have lost one of his titles had he waited for a clown like you.
Only reason why you are fighting Fury now is because you think he's not ready yet.
You would have ducked him like you ducked Klitschko 2 years ago.
