Comments Thread For: Edis Tatli Retains EBU Belt, Robert Helenius Wins Tough Rematch

The EBU lightweight championship fight between Edis Tatli (312) and Frank Urquiaga (121) turned out to be a war. It was an action-packed fight with both boxers landing hard shots and neither one giving up an inch. Urquiaga started the fight aggressively but had trouble getting through the taller Tatli's jab. By the second round Urquiaga's right eye was starting to swell. In the second round Urquiaga got Tatli on the ropes, but his combination left the champion smiling.

Yeah, him vs Teper is a difficult one to call as both are perhaps past their best?

Definitely, they are both getting close to the end of relevance. I need to see Helenius vs Granat or Helenius vs Pricey

They should get price vs Helenius on the Joshua undercard. It's a perfectly winnable fight for price against a fighter who still has some name recognition.

Better than allowing price to fight against kuzmin.

Helenius vs Price is honestly in the top 10 of fights I want to see right now

I'd like to see Fa$t £ddie press the EBU for a Tatli/Ritson contest. Maybe it could work on one of his Monaco shows.
