Highly regarded lightweight, Teofimo Lopez (10-0, 8 KO's) and his father, recently paid an in-studio visit to 'the 3 Knockdown Rule' with Mario Lopez and they weren't shy in stating their opinions. Lopez, who scored an impressive sixth round stoppage of William Silva on July 14th in New Orleans, is considered one of the best young prospects in the sport of boxing. They were asked what they felt about some of the other young boxers in and around their weight class, such as junior lightweight, Ryan Garcia (15-0, 13 KO's).

Yer i agree. Garcia even though he won an won most rnds in his last fight it wasn't a good performance.

Not sure what the hype is, I believe he'll be a weak champion much like Rober Easter. 1 defense maybe 2..Diaz is a joke and he sucks..Henney boxes his balls off

Lopez pops is salty as phuk! lol not just Ryan Garcia he just went and bad mouthed everybody. 1 by 1 listing all the other top prospects Ryan Garcia, Karlos Balderas, Vergil Ortiz ect. This guy isn't any good, this guy a nobody, this guy has no fanbase ect. Then after he's done trashing all other boxing prospects and he's asked about Devin Haney it's oh well he's too boring and he runs. I like Lopez but tell his pops shut the phuk up. Your son ain't done shyt. Ryan already younger bigger following and is fighting Velez and Morales back to back. Lopez ain't even fought an opponent that's ranked in the top 200 by boxrec in his weight class yet. And if you so good why you making excuses already for why you don't want to fight Haney? Stay in your lane and keep fighting the handpicked bums that Top Rank lines up. Ryan is headlining and filling up bigger venues and already fighting and beating top 30 ranked fighters in his weight class.

This has jealousy written all over it just cause his son not getting the level of attention Garcia is getting. I agree Garcia has a long way to go before can fight for a world title but did he acknowledge the last two opponents his son fought were not even tough. It's easy to look good when your opponent isn't competitive. 25-1 on paper looks decent but take a closer look and you'll see it's all smoke and mirrors. Silva ranked 241th in his weight class by boxrec and before that fight Teofimo fought a bum ranked 314th in his weight. One thing these two have in common is that neither works well when they're being pressured. So this idiot is not one to talk. He don't know **** about boxing and probably get his ass beat for running his mouth
