I'd actually like to hear an explanation by the WBA for this B/S! Perhaps someone from Scene can get a interview?

#1 is the super mandatory, #2 is the regular mandatory, #3 is the second regular mandatory, #4 and #5 are fighting for the interim title. Clearly the WBA has given up on having one champion per division by the end of next year. Who knows if they'll ever both at this point. Very disappointing. But I'm very happy for Don King that he may soon control a slice of the heavyweight title again.Comment

A clean Povetkin? No but a juiced one (how he obtained half his wins) sure.
Bone crusher Smith I believe would keep him at the end of his jab with a 7 inch reach advantage. That’s significant.
Tyson Fury would be the wild card. A prime Berbick against an in shape Fury that’s be quite the duel and possibly one Fury could overcome. However Fury has been quite underwhelming since Klitschko fight where he threw under 100 punches over 12 rounds. If he did that performance against a prime Berbick he’d be dropped on his can.Comment

a good grab too, so he may have ground-out an
unimpressive decision. I think Povetkin could probably
beat him. Clean, he could probably figure him out.
On PED's he might have crushed Bone Crusher's bones!
We can never be sure, though.
Ortiz would probably have sent Thomas home on a
stretcher, and I think a prime Fury would probably
have carefully boxed his way to an uninteresting win
against Berbick. But you're right. What if Berbick lands?
It won't be like getting dropped by Steve Cunningham.
All there fights would probably be competitive to some
degree. What's my point? I don't think the division is
talentless or boring right now, but we do need the
best names to step up and fight each other.Comment
