  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Bellew vs. Usyk in Very Early Talks, We Want The Fight

Dillian Whyte was the headliner of Eddie Hearn's O2 show on Saturday night and he survived a late scare to narrowly outpoint Joseph Parker in another humdinger. Shaken and floored in the last seconds, Whyte survived to hear the final bell.

Good fight for Usyk. The fight will be big in England and it's a good introduction to the division for Usyk. He'll get a big win and really position himself for some big paydays in the division.

Hopefully it's next. It's such a logical fight.

What we need is Wilder with Bellews spine.

Usyk is obviously a massive favourite so props to Tony for taking this on .

Usyk is a good fighter but he will not beat Bellew. Bellew will simply outwit him and frustrate him all night.

Bellew will be a good stepping stone for Usyk.

It's a good way to introduce Usyk to the HW division and to the UK market

Another case of a overrated privileged Brit ducking the best in his division. Whilst the top of his class compete in the WBSS, the 'Bellend' elects to cherry-pick David Gaye for PPV money instead of fighting his WBC mandatory Mairis Breidis -- who later went on to fight a Mike Perez and Olek Usyk in the WBSS cruiserweight tournament.

Tony Bellend never made a single defense of his WBC cruiserweight title ( the only world title he won ), you compare that to the sacrafise that Olek had to put himself through to be able to earn GLORY, now the 'Bellend' is throwing around that word ; but the man is void of understanding and spoiled by riches.

Even if by some miracle Tony Bellend got his hands on the undisputed crown, he can never say he was truly grate without putting in the work -- he would become the Tyson Fury of the cruiserweights. Truly sad what the British Market makes possible for such undeserving cowards.
