Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia Aims To Be The Next "Post-Top Rank" Mega-Star

Former four division world champion Mikey Garcia (38-0, 30 KOs) is one of the few fighters who refuses to have a promoter. Garcia has been a free agent since 2016, when he officially reached an agreement to part ways with Top Rank. Leaving Top Rank was not easy. Garcia waged a two year legal battle, which kept him away from the ring throughout the entire process.

Spence will ruin all that if Garcia takes the fight unless of course if Garcia pulls it off, but I think its safe to say that's a lil bit imaginary

Unfortunately for mike he doesn’t has ODLH’s looks or gold medal and he doesn’t have the stuff to be the bad guy like Floyd.

It does look like he got more cosmetic surgery tho so I guess he’s trying but he is still kind of funny looking.

I say he never crosses over to the mainstream media and that’s what it takes to be a star.

        I wish him good luck.

I never liked Mikey Garcia, but if this fight happens,
then the least I can do is stay away from threads that involves him.
Win or lose, you have to give him credit for taking a huge risk.
Which is lacking in this sport.
Wilder is not even content in getting a shot at four titles, plus $15 mil.
He wants more. He and his fake fans are more interested in how much AJ will make.

The thing is this, he is either a old 30 or young 30 only he knows. He is just trying to cake out already!!! I just hope he isn't looking past what's in front of him. I'm going to place a safe bet against him today.

Mikey needs to beat the crrap out of Easter in front of Spence, and let Crawford take care of Spence, Danny Garcia take care of Porter, Mikey comes down and knocks Lomachenko out, Thurman beat Crawford, Danny Garcia beat Thurman in their rematch, then Mikey beats Danny in an all-out Mexican vs Puerto Rican, Familia Garcia vs Familia Garcia fieston in May (Vegas), June (NY), or September (Vegas) of 2020...Ramirez, Prograis, Benavides, and even Davis can fight it out, or sit and watch..Mikey can be the man between 135-147 lbs.

Well put and couldn't say it better myself. Oscar had the skills, looks, and medal to back it up. Mayweather had it as well, but the talent that Floyd had was head and shoulders above oscar

That will be the safest way Mickey doesn't take punishment in the future, if it goes according to you.lol in a good way. Thurmans stock is taking a hit, him being injured is not good.
