Comments Thread For: Roach Feels Pacquiao Should Face Horn - Not Loma or Crawford

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach would like to see eight division champion Manny Pacquiao avenge his decision loss to Jeff Horn - and then retire from the sport. Pacquiao, who turns 40 years old later this year, was in action earlier this month when he dominated and stopped Lucas Matthysse in seven rounds to capture the WBA "regular" welterweight title in Malaysia.

Roach is wrong, and here is why: Horn could not beat Manny fighting dirty (yes, he was gifted the win; however, Manny landed punches almost two to one against Horn), and if possible, Horn would have fought dirty against Crawford too. All this tells me that Horn would fight at least as dirty (as he did in the July 2017 fight) in any rematch against Manny to have any chance of beating Manny. Furthermore, Horn doesn't belong in the ring with any clean fighter, and especially if that fighter is Manny.

Wow , the HOF cherry picking recipe that Roach took advantage remains constant. FIGHT opponents coming off a loss in last 1-2 fights. Verify for yourself not hating.

lol and that is why you are fired Roach. You don't know what's going on anymore.

Pac doesn't need a rematch. All we need is to looks at Horns face to know Horn's win was an empty win. Pac turned his face into a big target practice. Boxing is not about wrestling and fouling. Everyone knows Horn got a gifted win in Australia. everybody. Except you Roach lol

You're too sick to coach Roach.

              Is this Igor Roach?

Here's the wrestling match that is allowed only in Australia were in Horn resides .

It is true. Lil Manny doesn't have a chance against Loma or Crawford. Of course, lil Manny doesn't have much of a chance to beat The Hornet either. There is a reason Pac decided he didn't want a rematch with Horn for a title. He has already been stung by The Hornet and he doesn't want that kind of pain again. At least JMM just knocked him unconscious, but The Hornet was ruthless, stalking him non-stop and pummeling Pac to a bloody mess. It was reminiscent of Ali toying with Patterson, The Hornet just refused to end Manny's misery and kept punishing him, stopping just short of a sure ko. It was pretty ruthless. It sidelined Manny for over a year, as his body needed that long to recover from such punishment. Don't see why Manny would sign up for another beating like that.
