Comments Thread For: WBC Prez: Uysk, Gassiev Will Both Find Success at Heavyweight

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman is confident that both Oleksandr Usyk and Murat Gassiev can rise up to the heavyweight division and find plenty of success. This past Saturday night in Moscow, Usyk won a dominating twelve round unanimous decision over Gassiev in the final round of the World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight tournament.

The fight didn't turn out to be excellent, unfortunately.

        It's ironic, isn't it?

Everyone was ****ting on Briedis vs Usyk before it happened because of Briedis fight against Perez.

Everyone was hyped because Gassiev was always a usually entertaining fighter.

Turns out, Briedis vs Usyk was the best fight and Gassiev vs Usyk was a one sided whooping.
