canelo and his team are doing it again, making stooopid predictions like we will ko him this time, just like last time they made these stooopid predictions and did the opposite, i think canelo without his juice is taking this as a money fight, hes going to get beaten, i dont think even the byrd woman or whoever they wheel in to vegas to take her place can save himComment

That means it’s an excerpt, NOT my statement, a synopsis of the fight... you can look it up for yourself...and no, fights that last the distance should go to the busier fighter that set the tempo ...but that’s just my opinion like you have yours...so be it and that helps make the world go round...I HONESTLY, and have commented more than once, that I thought GGG could’ve and should’ve done more, with that being said, a DRAW was a fair assesment...again, just my opinion....Last edited by livershot73; 07-21-2018, 01:31 PM.Comment

I scored it 7 rounds to 5 ggg but round 11 I gave to ggg more off a toss up than anything else. Neither one did enough to truly win that fight. GGG a abandoned everything but the jab and Canelo took off almost all the middle rounds.
The more I think about it a draw was the best decision to make. And the Champ keeps his belt.Comment

GGG "missed" 500 times against Stevens and Murray as well. Why is the Canelo fight somehow a barometer for how much Golovkin misses punches? He's a pressure fighter who throws a lot of punches, many of which aren't designed to score but rather set up punches and find openings. Watch Barry Robinson's video on how he considers GGG the best prober. You cant just use a stat like that and assume its him just flailing punchesComment

I don't see it that way. Obviously you do. And you in the above reply said 90% said GGG won. I wouldn't say that many. And I'm not just a 10% slice of the fans. I had it a draw or a 1 point win for GGG, can't remember. But no way was Canelo running. And GGG's offense was just chasing all night. That isn't how you cut off the ring. IMO it was a very close fight. So assuming I'm in a discussion with someone who can't see things more than one way, really there's no sense in continuing this conversation. We'll find out a lot in Sept., and I'm of the opinion GGG will look worse and Canelo will look better. Your opinion is obviously different, and good for you.Comment
