Olympic gold medal winner Tony Yoka has been banned from boxing in France for a period of one year. The sentence was handed down on Thursday by France's anti-doping agency. According to several outlets in France, French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) has punished Yoka for missing three anti-doping tests in less than a year.

Allen was robbed. The only way anyone can beat the sexy boy is to cheat.

There is no cheating here, Yoka missed tests in France because he was training in the US with Virgil.

            That is just pure bias.
Tony loves his country and fans in France but gyms/trainers suck out there for pro boxing so he picked Virge.
And that's how he's been thanked by the french administration...

He should fight in the US.

The Word Antidopage Agency doesn't even recognize those bias sanctions.
That's why he will be able to fight outside of France.

France as usual overdoing when it comes to law, the only country who is able to bias/ban his main and only boxing star this way.

The missed tests were way before that. 2 in 2016 and 1 in 2017. He's been tested since then I'm sure.

"I'm told I could box abroad, but I'm not interested" So he would rather take a year off than stay active fighting in another country? This could actually be a good thing, take a few easy fights abroad, get seen in the UK, US and maybe Germany or something. Hell if you're so butt-hurt fight in Brussels or Geneva or Monaco where a bunch of French fans can still come watch you, but don't just take the year off FFS

This is the problem with boxing has there is no transparency between commissions and countries this should be a suspension that all countries and commission should honor...
