Hearn stopped responding once he saw the $50 mil. And the 2 points of clarification..

The two points which Eddie didn't respond to were the date and venue. Not money. But DATE AND VENUE! He didn't respond to the two points of clarification until after it became a news story. The story started spreading around twitter and I copied and posted it here on the 22nd of June.

"Eddie thinks I dislike him. He is wrong. I just have a difference of opinion with him of what a fact is. When I state something is a fact, I have written proof to back it up. I dare Eddie to do the same.

"To clear up one other fallacy, Eddie knows that they have a written term sheet from us which details our $50 million-dollar offer for Anthony Joshua to fight Deontay Wilder in the U.S. We have never received from them a response to this term sheet.

"Below is the correct chronology of where we are with the contract for the Anthony Joshua Deontay Wilder mega fight:

On June 11, 2018, Deontay Wilder accepted Matchroom’s offer to fight Anthony Joshua in the UK, this took Matchroom by surprise never thinking that Wilder would accept their below-market offer.

Shortly after Eddie Hearn went public saying that we would receive a contract by Friday June 15th. When in fact we did not receive a contract until late on Monday June 18th.

On Tuesday June 19th, we requested a clarification of two points. They did not respond.

I requested them again on Thursday June 21st and we finally received a response on Friday June 22nd.

Two days later on Sunday June 24th, I sent them a letter acknowledging Eddie’s email of June 22, telling them they would have the contract back by Friday June 29th.

"Since the contract did not state the date or the venue, I also asked for that information.

"These are the facts and Matchroom will have the contracts back to them by Friday June 29th," he added.

All being well, fans can begin to look forward to one of the biggest heavyweight fights of the last two decades.

That date and venue mentioned by Finkel will be revealed once Joshua and Wilder have signed their portions of the deal.

I know it's the professional thing to do give a date you can back but Finkel should send the contract earlier to not let Hearn have a chance to derail it. Other than that, great to see things getting done. So please, no one get in the way of this fight

All Hearn will do is make an excuse as to why the date and/or venue will not work...

ETA: or say AJ won't have enough time to prepare (aka come off that cycle)

I wonder if Hearn is calling Bob Arum on some pointers how to stall and marinate a fight. Some of this stuff Hearn is doing sounds straight from one of uncle bob's play books. The only thing he left out was building A stadium for the fight.

I’m staggered by the amount of alts and aliases on this board these past few weeks.

I don’t Hearn made that call or else he would’ve been able to come up with at least somewhat plausible lies , excuses and reasoning that didn’t paint him and AJ in such a bad light

Arums the king of talking sh.it but for the most part his excuses / lies for not making a fight seem at least somewhat plausible to the avg gullible fans / media and they can get behind it

Only the die hard Hearn / AJ sem.en drinkers aren’t calling Hearn out for his bullish.it at this point

Lmao. I still remember that ****. All the pact4rds ran with it too. "There's not enough seating, the stadium has to be built because the demand is so high"

**** like that just proves that no matter what a promoter spews, the stans will run with it if it has to do with their favorite fighter.

Next up we will have the AJ fans saying "AJ doesn't have enough time to train, wilder should have signed the contract earlier!!!"
But on the other hand he'll have plenty of time to train for Povetkin, just not wilder.

Hbo got rid of Arums asss for trying to have them pay for shyt fights no one wanted to see. Just to hype up his house fighters. The marinade got stale with them and their fight budget.
