Comments Thread For: Parker Very Confident His Chin Will Take Dillian Whyte's Power

Joseph Parker (24-1) doesn't expect his fight against Dillian Whyte (23-1) to go the distance. The Sky Sports pay-per-view event takes place July 28th at the O2 Arena. The 26-year-old Kiwi is very confident that he will be the second man to stop Whyte.

How the hell this no name Parker became anything is beyond me. He secured his belt through it being vacated and prior to AJ hadn’t fought a top 10 opponent now he is a worthy challenger? He wasn’t squat when he won the vacated title and wasn’t when AJ failed to put him down

Of course he is .I’m even confident my chin will take Dillian Whyte’s power. Doesn’t mean I’m not rooting for the home team but I have a sinking feeling Parker will dispatch of him when he realises Whyte power is similar of Joe Calzache but without the amazing work rate

I was trying to decide, which is the knockout of the year so far, Whyte/Brown, or DSG/Rios.

I'm leaning towards Danny Garcia. Bam Bam Rios dropped like a ton of bricks. Then he got up, and tried to ...pass Kenny Bayless' post-KD test. Im okay, I'm okay! Bayless ordered him to walk forward. Rios walked forward on drunken, spaghetti legs . Bayless said, oh no, fights over.

There wasn't any convincing, on the part of Browne. He got cold ****ed. 4-5 minutes to wake him up. It was preceded by a vicious beating over 4-5 rounds from Whyte.

They were both great, but Garcia's was just funnier

Ruiz Jr was top ten when Parker fought him. Lets be honest other than AJ who has fought many top ten heavyweights (1 at most).

Parker said he trusted in his chin when fighting Joshua as well. Claimed that Joshua had a glass chin and he would expose it by pushing him back in the fight. All of it bull****. Hell, he and his team even backtracked when the fight was near by then claiming Joshua had a good chin and didn't understand why people were doubting it so much even though they were the ones who kept saying it was shaky. So take what Parker says with a pinch of salt.
