Comments Thread For: Parker's Trainer Leans To Deontay Wilder To Beat Joshua

Kevin Barry is very familiar with Anthony Joshua. His fighter Joseph Parker is the only man to go the distance with Joshua. Parker lost a 12 round unanimous decision to Joshua in March but the New Zealand native wasn't ever seriously hurt in the fight.

Hearn needs to stop stalling and clarify the 2 details in the contract so this fight can get signed.

I absolutely believe the same thing.

I also think that Pedvotkin also might beat AJ, the Russian is not an easy nights work for anyone.

It’s too bad too because AJ looks and plays the part of what the heavyweight champ should look and act like.

I agree, in the modern world this could be done today. He just wants a bit of clarity on a couple of points, a phone call followed by email confirmation on these two points should be enough to seal the deal. That being said what do we know as humble boxing fans...

Wilder got that huge right hand and that empty head no fear

Look for crazy goofy Wilder to stop the conventional stiff Brit Joshua when they fight. No surprise as Wilder Ko's a soft Josh.

No way does a trainer feel the same way as those Wilder fanatics that don't know anything about boxing and just favor Wilder because he is American or black. It's just not possible!

Come on man, you can't be serious? Out of 40 fights he has had 1 fight against a genuinely ranked top 10 heavyweight and nearly got stopped if it wasn't for the referee.

Tyson (Mike), Both Klitschos, Lewis, Holyfield, Ali, Butterbean, Liston, Foreman, Dempsey, Henry, Marciano all beat Wilder and the list could continue.

Its not only "Wilder fanatics" that is picking him to beat AJ, am NOT a Wilder fan and i still pick him to beat AJ. And Parker's trainer isnt the only person split between the two fighters, people need to start separating wanting someone to win and being objective in what they see in boxers.
