  • Comments Thread For: David Allen Vows To Test The "Heart" of Tony Yoka

British heavyweight contender David Allen has vowed to test the heart of Olympic gold medal winner Tony Yoka (4-0, 3 KOs). In the 2016 Olympic games in Rio, Yoka defeated another hot heavyweight prospect, Joe Joyce, to claim the gold medal at super heavyweight. This coming Saturday night in France, Allen will step in the ring with the very talented prospect.

Dave Allen went to Tyson Fury's Gypsy local vocational-school for euro-level boxing and learned nothing ; now Allen is going to Yoka university for a course on the sweet-science!

The heavyweight division has been filled with low-level FAT out of shape frauds that have the nerve to call themselves athletes for YEARS, Yoka is here to change that perception, there is hope.

If Yoka can avoid punches as well as he avoids drug testing he'll go far.

He got a suspended ban for 4 missed tests. According to the rules 3 missed tests is the same as a failed test, but he missed 4 and got a ban which isn't a ban, WTF!

Only in boxing could you get away with this BS. Bad enough he got 2 gift decisions at the Olympics, now he can simply not get tested and still walk away the winner.

Hope Allen actually bothers to show up in shape and knocks him out. But even if that happens Allen will get disqualified for hitting him on the chin.

Did you see Allen vs Frampton at Table Tennis the other day? Allen turned up in a body warmer with nothing underneath, and had to play topless..... he looks fat and out of shape, which is a shame.

Thing is with Allen, people like him - because of what he says and also because he comes across quite vulnerable. So he reminds you of your everyday person rather than a sports athlete (even though everybody can be vulnerable). As far as actual talent, dedication and desire..I'm not sure that will ever be there for him to really make a dent in this sport.

Test the heart? Is Yoka having heart conditioning like Ortiz?
