Nobody good will fight a novice that might beat them. Besides that, that ranking means nothing. Ian Lewison is probably better than the other people Joyce has faced and he’s ranked 280 or something.

Agree with this - if Joyce wants to jump ahead of the queue he's going to need someone with deep pockets. Certainly with more cash than Haye.

I don’t really know why but Joe Joyce is my favourite fighter at the minute. He’s not that engaging of a personality but his style is just high contact. There’s just no way he’s gonna be in a crap fight unless he gets in there with one of the Fury’s and he’s not going to have time to fight pushovers.

He has that power that confuses you as a spectator because to be fair the 10 stone 7 men have been running boxing for ages. Joyce’s seemingly cuffing arm punches were visibly hurting Thomas who is a big lump himself.

But yeah, more money needed to Del Boy in there.
