Dallas, TX native Maurice Hooker arrived Friday morning in Manchester and headed straight to Arnie's Gym to shake off the travel rust in preparation for his June 9th world title clash for the vacant WBO junior welterweight strap. Flanagan-Hooker will serve as the chief supporting bout underneath the Tyson Fury-Sefer Seferi main event that will take place at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

Is he really that dirty? I can’t tell if his lack of unifications is Frank protecting him and clinging onto the belt or if the other fighters were avoiding him...

He’s relatively unknown in the U.K. despite having the best record.

To be honest, Flanagan is not really sellable, and Warren was hindered by lack of funds due to investing in Boxnation, which is a niche boxing channel in the U.K, not comparable to Sky at all.

Lack of promotion over the years and Flanagan not being a gig enough name or a ticket seller means he has been unbale to secure the big fights.

Anthony Crolla, who is from the same city but with Sky and Hearn managed to secure a world title in the same division, and he could get big fights with lanares due to being able to fill out the 20,000 MEN arena in Manchester..... Flanagan was mainly ignored due to being much better than Crolla and not worth the risk.

Terry Flanagan is just dead quiet. Just shells up in front of a camera.

Personalities sell here. I’m sure he’s a good lad.

If I was him I would be really bitter the Crolla fight didn’t happen at lightweight
