  • Comments Thread For: Crawford: This Long Layoff Gave My Body Time To Heal

By the time Terence Crawford steps into the ring June 9 to face Jeff Horn, he won't have fought in nearly 10 months. That'll be the longest layoff of Crawford's career, which began in March 2008. The former super lightweight and lightweight champion's lengthiest period of inactivity before now was seven months, from September 2011 until April 2012.

10 months is a while for a guy who’s been fighting so often. He has the right opponent though and good timing to get that rest before an assault on another division.

Heal from what..? Basically nobody laid a hand on him in 2 years. I guess training takes a toll, but everyone trains.

Crawford will be to illusive and slick for horn.. I see crawford with the late rd stoppage or crawford by UD.

Will it make him immune from the buzz of the hornet though?

Refreshed?.....that’s Horn’s worst nightmare! Horn should think about really hurting himself before this fight. He tried and failed twice, with the car wreck, and the last time sparring got cut. Maybe he should go ahead and shoot himself in the foot....a staged drive by! Jk... lol

$2.5M is a good retirement pay for Horny. Of course, Horny will use his head more to earn more. Craward will need to be brave to justify P4P rating.

I find it hilarious that the whole world thinks Jeff Horn absolutely sucks ass and he and his team think he's the best boxer on the planet and that they legitimately beat Pac. LMAO
