Comments Thread For: Kal Yafai: I'm Ready to Take Out the Champs, One After Another

Kal Yafai hopes an "explosive performance" Saturday night leads him to the meaningful fights he seeks within the 115-pound division. England's Yafai, who holds the WBA world super flyweight title, will collide against David Carmona at Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The bout is now a non-title encounter after Carmona failed to make the weight on Friday - coming in at over three pounds above the division limit.

Wouldn't be surprised if Carmona gives him a tough fight. Yafai is euro level.

I thought he was gonna be great when he turn professional but lack punching power, he will struggle with this guy.

I read that he has bad problems with his hands, maybe thats why he doesnt have much punching power?

Unify with Gallo Estrada after he beats Rungvisai, unless 3rd fight is needed.
