Two-time Olympian Everton Lopes of Brazil has retired from boxing. Lopes had not fought since winning a six round split decision over veteran Eduardo Rafael Reyes on Sept. 30. The 29-year-old Lopes suffered from chronic pain to his shoulders over the last several months.
