BoxingScene.com recently caught up with featherweight/super featherweight prospect Victor Morales Jr. (8-0) who faces David Berna (16-3) on Saturday night at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas. 2016 US Olympian and Wichita native Nico Hernandez fights in the main event. Both fights will be televised on CBS Sports. Berna, who recently faced Mick Conlan, will be the most experienced opponent of Morales' career to date.

I'm waiting to see Victor Morales Jr matched against a real fighter. The punching bags that have been his opponents were to boost his record. It's a shame for boxing, so hopefully he will be truly tested soon and spectators will see the fight for which they paid.
