Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte: Joe Joyce Looked Terrible - I Would Destroy Him!

Top rated heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte has trashed the latest performance by 2016 Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce. Joyce (4-0, 4 KOs) was in action last Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, when he beat down and stopped Lenroy Thomas in only two rounds to capture the Commonwealth title.

4-0. Wow. Nice that someone is still talking about Whyte, though. Like to see Povetkin test him.

what a good fight that'll be..joe is susceptible to dillian's best punch...which is the left hook..as long as he doesn't get clipped by that,I'm picking Joyce to batter him from pillar to post

Really?? How did you derive at that percentage? I was thinking 90% maybe 94% at best

“Like Haye, Joyce is deluded that is why they get on so well.”.... That was funny

I think it would be a great fight. They are similar in ability if you ask me with Dillian being slightly more polished which is funny to hear myself say because Dillian has the worse balance in boxing. Any time he throws a big shot I think he has just been clobbered because he is all over the place.

In any case what Joyce lacks in skill he makes up in toughness and workrate. A 50/50 fight and I don’t know whether that is a slap in the face for Whyte or Joyce is that really that good........ no it’s a slap in the face for Whyte

It's unusual for a four fight novice to want to move so quick.Normally it's learn the different pro approach etc. For this reason I think that Whyte would be too much for Joe.Even though Joe does carry power Dillian would see them coming and throw clean counters. Joe would be much wiser keeping away from the likes of Whyte .He should do the British title route , him and Sexon or Fury would be good even tho the Fury's think there above it.....(lol)
