    Jorge Linares (44-3) will enter the ring on May 12th against top pound-for-pound fighter Vasyl Lomachenko (10-1) at Madison Square Garden in New York. He will be without his longtime trainer Ismael Salas who is training David Haye in London for his May 5th rematch against Tony Bellew.

        Linares is going to get hurt in this fight. Totally the wrong fight for him at this stage of his career. Respect for taking the fight though.

          Linares has Rudy Hernandez who is one of the best cutmen in Boxing ( and UFC ) . Plus Rudy's a good Cornerman . I woulda gave Linares a better chance of winning with Hernandez as Chief Second instead of his bro .

                  Salas has done something for Linares’ game. Same way Salas did something for Jessie Vargas. And let’s see what Salas does for Haye’s game in Bellew. Linares was wreckless and got KO’d under Roach.

                  Cuban boxing is all about reach. Linares got to the longer arms. Don’t be surprised Jorge goes 12 and possibly makes an upset
