Good next step for Okolie, this will be a tough fight, hopefully it is not a snoozer like British Beef. Should be a really good card for York Hall, like that Daniyar is going to be very active. Also like that Bellotti/Doyle fight, another bit of a step up for him. Should be a fun card

That's too soon for Okolie but a right step in the right direction.

Good contest this one. Hopefully the winner fights Matt Askin soon.

Too soon for Okolie to face Askin unless he devastates Watkins and looks a different fighter than he has to date. Askin is a strong British champ, more like EBU level

I've only seen Watkins once but he looked fundamentally sound and bullishly strong, so I wouldn't put it beyond the realm of possibility that he upsets Okolie

We all love the Lonsdale belt. but there's 53 countries in the Commonwealth, so why is the title so neglected?

This should be a lot better fight than Chamberlain - Okolie. Be interesting to see Okolie fighting someone who can hit back.

Well, Kelly is facing an Australian and Joyce is facing a Jamaican. The reality is that the UK is by far and away the strongest boxing nation in the Commonwealth. India was actually the comfortable #2 in the recent Commonwealth games but they still seem to value amateur boxing over the pro game

I'm yet to be impressed by Okolie's boxing skill, he's more of a bruiser to me.
