It was reported in the Las Vegas Journal Review, that moves are being made for a clash between former champions Antonio Tarver and Jeff Lacy. Both fighters are Florida residents and coming off bad defeats. [details]

If Tarver isn't declining like he looks to be then he'd have a good shot to beat Lacy. Then again it was probably just the masterful performance from Calz that made Lacy look so awful.

Tarver throws pretty hard. I think Tarver wouldn't have any problems landing shots on Lacy. Tarver is a decent counter puncher too, so he should be able to counter of Lacy fairly easily. But, Tarver is not a great mover, and he's fairly flat footed, so he should be right there for Lacy to hit as well. I think Tarver wins, but I wouldn't put money on it.

yep, i think lacy can win, but the reach might be a problem and killing aint in the cards anymore with him.

Lacy got beat up pretty bad, and I think Tarver will look better at 175 his next fight than he did vs Bhops. I hope Lacy wins but I just don't know. I'd have to at least see how he has recovered since the Calzaghe fight.
