Sundsvall, Sweden - Light heavyweight Robin Safar, 6-0, outscored Croatian Josip Perkovic, 4-5-1, over six. It was scored 60-53 on all cards. Safar started slowly but upped the pace for a strong finish. Perkovic was cut on the nose in the third and had was hurt by a right in the fifth and had to take a standing eight count. In the sixth Perkovic was just in it to last the distance and he did as Safar posed a bit too much.
