I know lara has been called boring and understandably so at times. Specifically Canelo fans have used it as a reason to say it's why he didn't deserve a Canelo rematch. But can anyone name 1 canelo fight that was more exciting than lara vs Hurd or lara vs angulo?

I wanted him to but I have to admit that I didn't think Hurd was gonna win this one. Can't wait to see what the super welterweight/middleweight division has in store for him.

Canelo vs nsac is definitely more intriguing. Lol. Canelo vs ggg was good but I don't think it had the back and forth action or clean punching that lara had with both angulo and Hurd. I seriously felt Hurd was overrated because he seems so limited, but I underestimated how much his size and constant volume punching can wear someone down. Even a fighter as skilled as lara. It's one thing to do that to an inactive trout, it's another to do it to lara.

Point well made but both of those fighters were come forward guys and they made the fight.

Generally speaking, come forward fighters like Gatti make the action happen and why they are the crowd pleaser.

Most pure boxers, slicksters absolutely need a come forward fighter to make them look good.

I saw Hurd as a younger Angulo with quicker hands and better offence. If his chin held out I thought he would win.

Charlo on the other hand has heaver hands than Lara. Both guys would have their moments but in the end I think the 154lb Charlo beats Hurd but takes some damage in the process.

I agree with ur assessment. I know Hurd has a helluva chin but could it sustain a charlo battering? Hopefully we'll find out sooner rather than later.
