Comments Thread For: DeGale: Truax Embarrassed Me; Now It's Time to Repay the Favor

By Keith Idec - Embarrassing. Horrendous. Weird. Those are all adjectives James DeGale uses to describe the worst night of his life as a professional prizefighter. What disgusts DeGale most is that the former IBF super middleweight champion should've known better. DeGale's handers urged him to wait until sometime early in 2018...

Hope he backs up the talking with a clinical performance at the very least

Won't be easy. He's challenging away from home against a guy who on the evidence of their last fight is better than him

Degales focus is all over the place. Getting into verbals with plant at the press con, talking about Benavidez. Doesn't look like he's learnt his lesson & not sure where his head is.

He said truax is soft for not talking back at plant like he did. Or maybe truax is just actually focusing on the job at hand. When you think back to the channel 5 days, James always had excuses for bad performances. His body is injury prone so the best thing he can do is be alert on Saturday, work the jab and hope the judges give him a decision

Al Haymon telling him to wait is probably the only time he advised a boxer to sit on his arse for his own benefit.

De Gale looks like he's not sleeping and close to nervous breakdown.

His reaction to Caleb Plant was half ******ed too, oversensitive dude, looks like you can get under his skin and inside his head easely.

I get the feeling we're in for another embarrassing loss.

Yeah plant wasn't even talking to him at firs. He was talking to Truax

James has gotta focus. Keep his back off the ropes and work otherwise this will be more shameful than the last 1

If DeGale is anywhere near 100% it should be a comfortable victory. Truax is decent though so chunky needs to be on it.
