Comments Thread For: 'Cinderella' Truax still humble, hungry ahead of DeGale rematch

By Lyle Fitzsimmons - The Box Nation announcers didn't know. The fans at Copper Box Arena didn't know. And James DeGale most certainly didn't know. But Caleb Truax knew. The rugged Minnesotan dropped to his knees as the bell ended his 12-rounder with the IBF super middleweight champion last December, and he did so again a few minutes later -- when a regime-changing majority decision broke the seal on 34-year-old emotional floodgates...

Truax will win a very tough rematch.

I also feel Hurd will pressurized Lara to defeat him.

Truax is very basic but solid and consistent - basically the opposite of Degale who is very skilled but probably the most mercurial fighter that I can think of. If Degale has actually heeded the wakeup call and done his preparation properly this time then he should win this time. If he makes the same mistake of looking past Truax again and allows him to put him under pressure, then he could be facing another embarassing loss, and this time it'll end his run as a fighter that's taken seriously at the top level.

People are still saying stuff like "I cried like a little girl"? That is just ******. Little boys cry just as much, if not more, than little girls. Come on now...

wouldn't surprise me to see Truax win again, and if he does - there is no where for Chunky to go.

a very close fight to call regardless of the location but give the edge to the champion until he is proved otherwise...
