Comments Thread For: Povetkin's Promoter: I've Spoke To Hearn About Joshua Fight

Andrei Ryabinsky, promoter for Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin of Russia, says he's been in talks with Eddie Hearn, who promotes IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs). Povetkin is the WBA and WBO mandatory challenger, and wants to fight Joshua sooner than later.

As long as his last name isn't Wilder, I'm sure AJ has no problem facing him. It will be a replay of Wlad-Povetkin, except this Wlad is black and has larger biceps.

Of course he has. Instead of AJ, they should call him ABW.

This Joshua vs Wilder fight is not going anywhere!!!!! These two are both in their prime and can take another fight before meeting on winter holidays. why is wilder not on the road of boxing federations to get a mandatory like Povetkin is anyways ??? can someone explain?

It looks like Fast Eddie is trying to swerve Povetkin also, he fought on the undercard to drum up hype to fight AJ next and now fast Eddie throws Whyte at him to protect AJ.

I give Povetkin even as past it as he is a good shot it beating AJ.

I guess fast Eddie does too

I said that sh^t lol. Povetkin might be a dummy, but Ryabinsky ain't.

Dude ain't gonna fight f#cking Whyte when they got a mandatory locked in.

Sh^t Joshua could f#ck up some sh^t and Povetkin could end up fighting for the vacant title vs Trevor Bryan or something nuts like that.

I hope if AJ does fight Povetkin before Wilder he gets knocked the **** out.

                    Lol yep.

Eddie don't live in Dreamland. He knows Joshua is beatable. And he don't wanna go to Russia to fight Povetkin which is almost assured of going down if it goes to a purse bid.

And he don't wanna go to America for Wilder either I don't think.

F#cking Joshua gonna be trying to fight Whyte again soon. Eddie throwing Whyte at everyone except Joshua. So that might be the next move.
