  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: You Will See Me Start Priming, But I'm Not in Prime Yet

A leaner and lighter Anthony Joshua weighed in some six pounds heavier than Joseph Parker on Friday for the battle of the undefeated heavyweight world champions in Cardiff. Joshua, the reigning WBA, IBF and IBO world champion, is also taller and with a six inch reach advantage over Parker, who will be bringing his WBO belt to the Principality Stadium for Saturday night's unification fight.

28 years old and not in your prime? Yea ok guy, now you're starting to sound like Wilder (idiot). Joshua got 3 years left. Time to wake up.

I think his peak performance will be the Wlad fight. It's all downhill from there, boys!

They say most Heavyweights prime is in their early 30's.

          So he may be right.

Sounds like something that you tell a chick after a bad first lay. Don't worry girl it gets way better than that. Smh

              We damn sure hope so.

That Carlos Takam fight stank the place out.

(AJ)....."I ’m hoping to go somewhere between seven and nine.” I'd say that should be just about right. That little pointy chin of his is very impacted by just one hit and it's definitely going to get hit.

A lot of casual fans think once you're in you're 30's you're past your prime, a shot fighter, couldn't be further from the truth. A lot of 20 year olds show flaws against journeymen caliber fighters, and if they manage to survive those scares they improve with each fight. Unless you've been violently KO'd, or in a crap ton of wars, it's very possible to fight well into your 30's even 40's.
