He took Takam on last notice, had to adjust to a shorter boxer - boxed him cleanly and won. I thought it was a good stoppage, you cant please everyone. Crowds boo because they want dramatic stoppages, they could care less how close a fighter is to death or how seriously hurt, its all about how they see things - from a distance. Mayweather has a different mental makeup. Floyd was king for a decade and everybody was coming for the crown. The media hated him and did everything they could to bring him down but he never bent to their will and he only got bigger. The hate fueled Floyd. He didn't care if you liked him or not. He was focused on his goals.

I get why people don’t like Floyd. But no one can dispute that fact he made more money in boxing than anyone has over their entire career. And he took the least amount of punishment too and finished undefeated. Now he may not be the greatest boxer ever or the toughest, but you have to respect him, not saying personally as a man, but as someone who excelled in his sport. Gotta give him props for that unless your just a hater.
