  • Comments Thread For: Espinoza: Joshua-Wilder 'Significantly Easier' To Do if Both With SHO

It's not clear when heavyweight titans Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) will clash. For the time being, both are circling one another but this is among the biggest bouts - literally and figuratively - that can be made in all of boxing.

Dana White is attending Cardiff to watch the fight from ringside and reports are circulating that he wants to sign AJ for a lot of money..500mil!

Doubt Showtime can match that.. But what channel would Dana White put AJ on.

If Hearn switches AJ to HBO, that will probably go on as one of the biggest ducks in recent history, akin to Bowe throwing his belts in the garbage to avoid Lewis.

Akin to Pimp running away from Kovalev.

Yup. In the back of my head the fight will never happen. If it does it will be way past its prime. Boxing is the worst sometimes. I hope AJ draws his fight against Parker lol

The same channels he post regular UFC fights then he could do ppv for AJ. For 500mil you need to make him an ppv star.

Dana is a promoter, if he signs AJ to Zuffa Boxing it will have nothing to do with fighting on SHO or HBO. That's a promotional deal, not a network deal. Now if Zuffa Boxing signs an exclusive network deal like Top Rank has with ESPN then that's a different story. Aj can sign with Dana and then sign another deal to fight only on HBO or SHO (whoever offers more). It's like when Pacquiao was with Top Rank and was fighting on HBO and then when he fought Shane Mosley Showtime got that fight because they offered Pac more money. After that fight Manny went back to HBO where he ended up staying exclusively until recently.

I understand that but Dana White is on record saying he will never ever work with Showtime.
