Lewis Ritson will be looking to claim the British title outright in his next fight. The North East superstar won the belt back in October when he stopped Robbie Barrett in Manchester. Ritson, 24, then dismantled Joe Murray inside a round late last month to make the first defence before taking Scott Cardle out inside two just last weekend in London.

Its not the strongest division domestically, but winning the belt and then defending 3 times against solid opp in 9 months or so is pretty good going.

Hopefully fight the winner of Dodd vs Coyle to unify the Commonwealth and British before getting into Euro scene.

Hes not perfect or anything, but he gives me good vibes does Ritson. Seems supremely confident in himself, has a good dig and seems to have good whiskers. Time will tell if he is more Eggington (maxing out at Euro) or Froch. But itll be fun to follow either way

Damn, another fun fight. When is the last time someone won the Lonsdale belt as quickly as Ritson is going to do it? Dodd/Coyle winner would be a good fight after or Townend maybe, then hopefully they go after a Euro title or go with the big domestic fights against either Burns or Crolla
