Comments Thread For: Hatton Crossing Fingers That Tyson Fury Returns in Full Force

Retired Manchester legend Ricky Hatton is crossing his fingers that his good friend, former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs), will return in style. Back in November 2012, a 34-year-old Hatton attempted his own comeback after a being away for three-a-half-years - but after a single fight he was sent right back into retirement after getting knocked out by Vyacheslav Senchenko.

This sums up his true feelings right here, ""I was 34, he's younger so he might be able to get away with it..."
Hatton knows you can't come back the same. He's going to speak positive for his friend, but he knows what's up and will probably be one of the first ones to comment on it when Fury fails to achieve past heights.

Not many come out of retirement due to drugs and drink and go on to do too much.
Hoping hes different cause we need more talent in the heavy weight devision.

It's getting to be a long time since he's been out, whos to say he'll even return and still be a useful player at this point

I think Fury will be fine but without nandrolone he may never top his performance vs Klitschko

Del Boy III would actually be a perfect yardstick for him.

He'd be comparing himself to himself essentially.

I am fascinated to see who they will go for. No promoter in the world could actually promote that trilogy.

Sam Sexton would have been something but his cousin is fighting him.
