Cuban trainer Ismael Salas came out and denied the circulating rumors that he split with the lightweight world champion of the WBA, Jorge Linares. Damn! looking bad for Linares training camp, Jorge needs 100% commitment for Vasyl Lomachenko ; Salas will be too busy with the Gaymaker and Jorge will not be properly tuned for the most important fight of his career.

How long is a trainer with a boxer every day? If less than four hours I don't see a problem.

I'm taking into account that Salas is probably going to start fresh with David Gay and then after he is spent work with Linares, its not the same effort. This is why some fighters have left Freddy Roach, when he prioritized Pacquiao over them.

So! ... he can alternate 1 hour or 2 hour periods - ain't rocket science.

Haye isn't going to be doing intensive training anyway as he'll injure himself again.

I don't know of too many elite fighters in the fight of their careers finding it acceptable to have a part-time trainer, I don't see Wilder-A.J-Canelo-Garcia-Pacman-Spence-Crawford doing this. Thats all I got to say.

it's not ideal but it's manageable and preferable to changing trainer at this late stage.

NSB heard it here first . Remember guys Idunnoshet gave you guys the Scoop . Linares will be working with Los Angeles based trainer RUDY HERNANDEZ for the Lomachenko fight . It's pretty much a done deal .

Man this is poor preparation if true. However, didn't Linares set up camp in London a long time ago? I thought that was supposed to be his permanent camp from now on.
