Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) has now passed his third consecutive anti-doping test with a negative result for clenbuterol. Eric Gomez, President of Golden Boy Promotions, confirmed to ESPN Deportes that Canelo had been negative in a third anti-doping test conducted on March 9 by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency.

So that sounds to me like the first two tests administered were both positive, and now the drug is out of his system. That is what you would expect if he was doping.

Unless there is an article somewhere saying that he was tested by the two positive tests February 17 and 20.

That is important, because if he did a cycle of drug use thinking he could get clean before he was tested, the only shot at catching him is in the first tests.
