A 60/40 split in Joshua's favor is fair.

    It will happen this year.

Joshua isn't the champion. STOP ACTING LIKE HE'S THE ****EN CHAMPION LMAO!!! Hes not the hvw champion, or lineal champion. The stiff one can only get 60/40 if the fight is in the UK. If it's in America they will negotiate their pay day.

40% of this fight is somewhere in the region of $16-22 million. What idiot on this planet is going to pay Deontay Wilder that kind of money, he earns $2 million a fight! I mean get ****ing real! Lol.

Not to mention that Joshua won't earn that much more than he normally does. The only way Wilder gets that kind of split is if this ends up on US ppv with a projection of over 750k ppv buys.

This is a fight that's being built and analytics are guessing how the fight might do in the US. That might be the UK way of doing business but that isn't how boxing does business. And if the fight is in the UK, Wilder will bring the danger and make the crowd come out so for you to answer with this juvenile answer is staggeringly mind boggling.

750K US PPV is worth 70 million, much more than any Joshua fight makes.

Maybe Wilder should be demanded 50/50

Yes - but they only see around half of that, say $35 million. Plus that is if the fight is priced at $100, which is another big IF. Wilder has never been on ppv, has no track record, Joshua hasn't either, neither is a big name in the US, so the fight being on US ppv currently is a risk to say the least. Secondly the chances of it doing those kind of numbers is EXTREMELY low.

Lastly - even if it did those numbers, is fight actually generating more for the fighters? Probably - but Its questionable when you factor everything in. If they want to do it in the US and want it to be a financial success, I think they would have to wait 12-18 months at the very least and build it up further.

If it happens in the UK this year, it does over a million buys UK ppv, a Wembley sell out, plus big international tv rights, including RTL, Showtime, and HBO.

AJ made 20 millions each of his last 2 fights.

He is established cash cow right now. Doesn't need anyone to make this money.

Meanwhile Wilder still making $2,1 millions, he desperatedly needs AJ to boost his payment.

A lot of american fans will turn on to what the fight, even casuals. So yes, he deserves a split. Maybe 30 or 35 instead of 40, but he doesn't deserve less than that.
