Comments Thread For: Hearn: If Joshua Hurts Wilder Like Ortiz Did - It Won't Be Pretty!

Eddie Hearn, who promotes IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), believes his fighter could do some real damage to WBC champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs). Joshua is first scheduled to fight WBO world champion Joseph Parker in a unification on March 31 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Whether Wilder fight will be easy or not, let see how AJ handles Parker. Sure AJ punch harder than Ortiz and a lot younger. Still aj has more volume punch than Ortiz

Eddie's argument can be used on Joshua as well, because Klitschko, if he was years younger, could have beaten Joshua.

Both Wilder and Joshua are good finishers. They both beat dangerous old men in Ortiz & Wladimir.
Let's see how Joshua performs against a younger, fast & dangerous Parker.

Always thought Wilder would blast AJ in brutal fashion. I still stand by that. I hope they make him the underdog so I can cash in.

If wilder had any boxing skills even at 15 stone i woukd give him a chance cos of his 1 punch power but he hasnt he throw punches like you see in comedys were they close there eyes and throw big round the world hooks i really think its going same way as charles martin might last a round more defo early ko win for aj

If AJ hurts Wilder like Ortiz did, he probably will finish him. But if Wilder hurts AJ like Wlad did, Wilder will probably ko him. That is why we need this fight. All we need is for AJ to grow a pair. I get it though, he wanted Takam, Parker and will at least want Miller first too. Whatever, he is milking it for all he can. He is clearly scared of Wilder. Wilder wants the fight. AJ is the one talking about freakin Miller. Get the f out of here.

Hearn talks tough until he is asked if he will have AJ fight Wilder. Then he stutters and runs away, hiding behind his skirt. Just hearing the name Wilder has been said to send Hearn into seizures.
