    Veteran trainer Abel Sanchez, who heads the corner of IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, has had a strong reaction to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez testing positive for clenbuterol ahead of their May 5th rematch at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. More so than Canelo, Sanchez is upset with the Mexican superstar's handlers - because of their background and association with the meat industry.

    Somebody definitely dropped the ball big time. I can't remember if ever in the history of boxing, has the #1 star in the sport been involved in a situation even remotely close to this?

      I actually have less motivation now to see the rematch. Because of GGG loses everyone will say Canelo was juicing - including Team GGG

          This has happened to Mexican boxers before, including the legend Erik Morales.

          Canelo is hardly the first.
