Boxing cash cows are not much different than a rich man that just committed a crime and buys his way out. It's a sad story but ultimately money always talks.

Canelo wouldn't be punished by WADA so highly unlikely NSAC will punish him either.

“We acknowledge that the clenbuterol meat contamination issue is unsatisfactory,” said Olivier Niggli, Director General, WADA. “Accordingly, since 2011, the Agency has carried out several research studies aimed at providing analytical means to distinguish ingestion of clenbuterol by pharmacological origin versus that of meat contamination,” he continued. “We will continue to invest in scientific research to try to solve this issue as quickly as possible,” Niggli continued. “However, in the meantime, we maintain that disciplinary proceedings against athletes with low level urinary concentrations, from countries known for significant risk of exposure, would have little to no prospect of success; and, would be very unfair to the athletes concerned.”

OK don't know if Canelo took this drug or it's what they are claiming. But Oscar saying the camp is moving to the US isn't a gesture of good will. This move to Colorado was planned before this incident.

Gawd.. boxing is completely shameless. Its all about the money.

The only 'positive' is it will motivate GGG. I hope Abel gets into Canelo's head with this even more

FFS, what a bunch of spineless ******s we have running sanctioning bodies, corrupt to the core, how to screw up a sport with soo much potential and entertainment value. I want to see GGG vs Canelo too, but don't sanction it if you have any integrity.
