That shot is for the Prograis-Indongo winner barring nothing crazy happens.

Yeah whats up with Regi vs. Indongo for the 'interim World Boxing Council World Super Lightweight Title' and Amir Imam vs. Jose Carlos Ramirez for the 'Vacant' WBC 140 title? Why are there two belts for the WBC 140 title being contested around the same time?

I'm glad they're going down the WBC route. All the other rankings at 140 lbs are weak. It may take longer to pick up a belt but it's the legit way to do it

I don't think I agree with McGuigan claiming the division is "red hot". Unless Mikey Garcia hangs about there are no real top level fighters. Josh has a great chance of becoming a world champion

Prograis-Taylor would be a very very good fight!

It's basically like fighting for a title and immediately getting a mandatory. They had the 1 vs 4 fight and the 2 vs 3 fight and then the winners face one another. Remember Charlo won the WBC at 154 and then immediately had to fight two mandatories back to back.

                This.

Isn't that the plan already? Taylor can't just cut into the lil mini tournament they got lined up I'm assuming. But sh^t I wouldn't hate it if he did or fight the winner or any of the losers of this tournament as they lose.

Taylor is definitely a guy in play at being the number 1 guy at 140 now that Crawford is gone. 140 is gonna be one of the more interesting to watch divisions to watch over the next couple years as things shake out at the top.

It's hot for Taylor and in the U.K, we have some good guys at 140. Flanagan is number 1 and is fighting for the WBO title in April, that's an obvious fight to make and England vs Scotland (hopefully a WBO, WBC unification in the future). We also have the European champion and WBC 10, Anthony Yigit for Taylor.

There is a load of good guys at 140 and loads of fight to be made and belts to be won, I'd say it was red hot as well.
