I don't know the reasons why Joyce turned pro so late but know that he has his team are eager to throw in the ring with very experienced opponents in his fourth pro fight. I guess they are trying to get him a title shot before his 34 th birthday. If they want to do this they will have to keep him busy and fight experienced people to get him up the ranking list, well I wish him luck. If he gets past his next opponent maybe consider Helenius next then winner of then winner of Sam Sexton and Hughie Fury and let's see if his managed to win these two.

In Amateur boxing they used to fight up to 4-5 times in month. I think fighting every month should get him at least British hw title at early 2019

I don't understand professional boxing these days unless you are in brutal war why they don't fight more often. Some champions only defend twice a year you should defend four times. Mike Tyson in his first 2 years fought 28 times picking up the WBC title.

Yeah and when there was tournament they fought 4 ****ing times on weekend. I am not telling that World champion should fight every damn month but hey, fighting 2 times in year cmon now. and it is not like Joshua is 35 he is in prime so why not fight every 3 months. They are young in their primes so why to waste time. I wouldnt say a word if they were 33,34 years old pas their prime but cmon

And most of AJs opponents don't fight back. So he's really just punching a walking boxing bag for 2 rounds every 6 months.
