  • Comments Thread For: Adonis Stevenson: Fight Against Jack Should Shut The Critics Up!

WBC heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson has been heavily criticized in recent years for his selection of opponents. Since winning his title with a highlight reel first round knockout of Chad Dawson in 2013, Stevenson had quality successive defenses against Tavoris Cloud and Tony Bellew.

Jacks a WW. Adonis, fight Kovalev, Bieterbiev, Bivol, Bererra. They'll shut you up you one trick pony. Jack could conceivably beat Adonis if he shuts down his left. The guy is not that well rounded.

surely the winner will find some excuses not to fight "The Nail" Gwozdyk, as professional boxing becomes more and more global it becomes more clear who're the best at sport, soviet school of boxing appears to be much better, now you start to see that all your all time greats wouldnt be so greats if there was an even playing field where are all easterns and cubans were competing at professional boxing in the 1960s-1990s

YOU ARE CORRECT!! Only REAL boxing fans will say it. The rest are just fans of one fighter. #casuals The ratio of champs from Eastern Europe is widely distancing the Americans by a long shot. And I am American who spent a lot of time in Eastern Europe. The mindset is one of all business and no clowning.

wat has gvozdyk proved? not to say he doesnt deserve his shot if eh wins his next fight, but honestly why are you riding his nuts? did you not see karpency almost decapitate him? did you not see chilemba landing damn near everything he threw on him?

come on man stop acting like you know the divsion just bc u know a name

gvozdyk should enforce his mando shot or understand that he will be leasty likely of all options to anyone with a title bc they'd rather unify or fight ppl that will bring more credit and have more wins...

gvozdyk is an A level prospect at this point and his match making team even walked him back a little after he struggled with karpency and chilemba.

If you look at the top boxers in the world right now you'll see that there is a mix of Americans, Mexicans, Brits, and Eastern Europeans.

So calm down with all this "clear who're the best in sport" talk.
