Comments Thread For: Donnie Nietes: I Want Chocolatito or Sor Rungvisai Next!

INGLEWOOD - Donnie Nietes made easy work of mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Reveco, stopping him in the seventh round, successfully defending his IBF flyweight title. It was all Nietes from the opening bell, outboxing the Argentine fighter by throwing and landing combinations to the head and body.

I was impressed with Nietes last night. Very technical and always composed. Sor Rungvisai would be a great fight for him.

problem i see with nietes is that he's too small for a strong man like Rungvisai

Eh, just let him do it. They let Loma face Rigo.

Yea... He said he wanted the big names...whoever titlist who wants it

Any title holder at 112, Gonzalez or the winner of the main event (Rungvisai).

He basically wants the biggest fights he can make. Rungvisai might walk through him...but hey, if he beats him he'd definitely be ranked highly P4P.

I picked Donnie to be either one by a decision his crab like defense I believe will prevent him from getting hit with any Powerhouse shots specifically combinations... he's too good a fighter and too many people especially the average American boxing fans does not even know who he is he's a top 5 P4P IMO...
