Bellew beat makabu, who I predicted he would beat, makabu is not world level, he is not breidis, usyk, gassiev or even dorticos. Bellew is not world level. He too has been talked up, he is a very stiff fighter.

There is a reason Smith hasn't faced stiffer opposition...

Shocking that Bellew backed Smith - a fellow scouser and SKY colleague!

We’re yet to really know how good Smith is, he was on a good run of stoppages in the run up to Skogland, albeit against limited British and Euro level fighters. I’ll say this for him, he’s very tall and awkward for a super middleweight and looks to have decent power. He’s definitely the best of the Smith brothers, but similar to them, he’ll likely lose when he steps up against a world level fighter (be that Groves, Zurdo or Benavidez)

I don't think he is the best Smith, Beefy has the most natural skills, but he is too robotic to realise his potential. Paul has the best boxing skills. Callum is just a freak athlete, and he better win a world title soon, cause he will start to struggle at the weight, and if he goes up a division he will be meat and drink for any LHW of note.

I do not see what so many mfers see in Callum Smith. I think Groves schools him better than he did Eubank Jr & it'll be wider on the cards. I'm not even confident Smith gets by this kickboxer guy & I was picking Braehmer to beat him outright.
