Comments Thread For: George Groves: Eubank Jr. Should Try Something Else, or Perform

George Groves is optimistic he will be fit for the World Boxing Super Series final but said it is "impossible to know" if he will have recovered from a shoulder injury for the showdown on June 2. Groves retained his WBA super middleweight title with a unanimous points victory over Chris Eubank Jr in a bloody battle at a raucous Manchester Arena on Saturday.

How is Eubank a coward? He moved up to risk it all. And he went 12 with a bigger guy. Must be the Nicky Blackwell fans posting vengeance

Your criticism is way over the top. I am not a fan of Eubank Jr. and was hoping he would lose, but he is not a coward. He is simply an unskilled boxer and is in over his head when fighting the top dogs. To his credit, he did not give up and gave no reason for anyone to call him a coward.

Eubank has been schooled twice at elite level but damn he has a chin and good cardio. It was a joy to watch Groves prove his superiority at that level, you have to be happy for Saint George. Eubank needs a new trainer and attitude, he is p***ing away his prime years away and is nearly 30.

Probably just a good trainer and a return to 160

If he goes back to 160 he will get thrashed by Charlo. He just need to let his hands go more, get some footwork going , use a jab and throw meaningful combinations. On second thought maybe he just try selling cars.
