On Saturday night from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Cuba's Yordenis Ugas (20-3, 9 KOs) will be one fight away from securing a world title opportunity. In order to get there, he must overcome Ray Robinson (24-2, 12 KOs) in an IBF welterweight title eliminator.

Spence will whip both Ugas & Robinson on the same night.

Oh great just what I wanted Spence vs Ugas. I hope Spence "ducks" Ugas as the dumb mfers will say if he were to drop his belt to avoid that bs fight. Sadly he only gots one belt so probably won't do that, but I'd prefer it if its Ugas or Robinson next.

F#cking abc groups ruin this sport sooooooo much sometimes with their corrupt bs rankings.

I wish Ugas well, man, but he’s pretty ordinary. Poor man’s Barrera, if that says anything.

If Ugas beats Robinson I actually think he's put together enough decent wins to have earned a title shot. I'd rather see that than Ortiz or Alexander fight Spence.

unfortunately errol NEEDS to keep his belt.. thats the ONLYYY leverage he has for people to fight him.. its bad enough now that no one wants to fight him and he is a champion.. i could only imagine the type of fights hed get if he dropped the belt smh!

it is good to hear a couple fighters mention spence though. its sooooo annoying no one wants to fight him!! arent these guys fkn fighters or what!?! WHAT ARE WE DOING!?!?

I'm more interested in this fight than Alexander vs. Ortiz, or Garcia vs. Rios!

I mean I get it. I like & root for Ugas myself in most situations, but I wanna see Spence do big sh^t at 147 & I feel like he'll have to make his real mark at 154 with how Thurman is trying to avoid Spence or make Spence his crowning achievement fight. Ugas shouldn't have sh^t to do with the real title picture at 147. I just don't think he's THAT good.

But abc groups. So yea anything can potentially be in play & honestly if Ugas or Robinson get a opportunity to fight Spence, while I'll be disgusted with the abc bs that led to it, I'll be happy for either of those two getting a nice payday.

Beating Dulorme, Perrella, Jamal James and Robinson is pretty solid. That's just a contender earning their shot in my eyes. People can't duck Spence forever and enough money will get offered so those fights do happen. He'll get his big fights, just not now.
